I was taking a look at windows for my house today and figured out several things. For starters, most are costly! It also reminded me of the time when I was residing in a high-rise apartment and there were these drafty windows which had metal frames. These were single-pane and also any time it had been windy, you would notice a whizzing noise as the wind went right through them. Luckily, gas heating had been included in the rent payments.

Anyhow, today I had been taking a look at windows that have double glazing and also all of these additional hi-tech coatings to help you avoid heat from getting out during winter months and cold air throughout the summer months. It’s really a big improvement compared to my old apartment windows. Now I simply have to find out if I am able to find the money for those that have shades inserted in between the window panes. Those are so nice, but so costly.
